Will boxing ever return to its former glory?

Boxing has had it's ups and downs,it's golden age and it's low tide periods too. Things will change as a new fantastic array of young fighters show up on the scene one day. One thing that ruined boxing IMO is big PPV bouts and the national television channels ending their interest in showing bouts.I remember the days WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS, when 5 p.m.on a saturday afternoon, you could watch Ali fighting some European Champ ina title bout. Everyone would sit around the TV watching these matches. Then Don King showed up on the scene and made everything a big PPV or premium TV event. Things will get better, it always does.
